Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), a leading Indian public sector undertaking, has announced that the third prototype of its DATRAN 1500 HP Engine will undergo rigorous testing in the United Kingdom. Post-calibration, the engine will face a series of endurance tests at BEML’s own facilities, which will include runs of 400, 600, and up to 1500 hours.
