Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL) and Airbus Aerostructures GmbH have signed a fresh agreement for the production and supply of metallic components for all models of Airbus commercial aircraft, including the highly popular A320 family. As per the terms of the contract, MASPL will be responsible for delivering approximately 5000 different types of metallic components to Airbus in Germany, utilizing its manufacturing facility based in India. This contract serves as an addition to MASPL’s existing programs, which involve the direct supply of parts to Airbus in Toulouse, France.

Commenting on this new agreement, Mr Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace & Defence & CPO of Auto and Farm Sectors at Mahindra, expressed his pride in the relationship between Mahindra and Airbus. He stated that this contract further strengthens their partnership and contributes to the “Make In India” initiative launched by the Government of India. Mr. Sahay also emphasized their commitment to fulfilling their obligations and continuing to grow together through collaboration.

MASPL considers it a privilege to be a supplier for Airbus and expresses sincere gratitude for their ongoing support in their growth endeavors. The awarding of this contract signifies a significant expansion of their portfolio with Airbus, presenting additional opportunities for collaboration in terms of performance, innovation, and technology development. MASPL is dedicated to meeting Airbus’ expectations and delivering high-quality components that align with their stringent standards.

The collaboration between MASPL and Airbus not only highlights the success of their existing partnership but also underscores the trust and confidence that Airbus has in the capabilities and expertise of MASPL. This partnership is a testament to the commitment and dedication of both companies toward achieving excellence in the aerospace industry.
